Summer 2022
4 weeks of summer
We had 4 weeks of summer inbetween graduating dental school + starting residency. It was SO nice not having to move. We love our area and our neighbors.
We spent the first week of summer just relaxing and getting ready for our trip to Florida. It was so weird to be totally free for just a small moment :) I quilted for the first time in forever + Logan put together his tool chest, a graduation gift from my parents. We ate lots of popsicles and mini stroop waffles.
Benson really mastered walking. We spent many hours at the park and playing with bubbles.
Trip to Cracker Barrel, Malt Shop and Grant's Farm... and Benson slept the entire time.
Crestwood pool opened!!
JT invited us over for a pool day!
We took off to Florida!
We were so excited to come home and start some swim lessons! They were such a joke... a combo of short staff and probably terrible planning .... we only went twice.
A new gas station opened - Wally's. Similar to Bucees. We had to check it out!
I'll never get sick of these snuggles and smiles.
Logan's diploma came! Officially Dr. Carter.
I really wanted one last getaway before Logan started back... so I booked an Airbnb in Defiance. About 30 minutes from our house. It wasn't quite what we were thinking it would be... beautiful place, just HOT! We came home after one night.
Back home to ball pits, hanging with dad + some grey goose :) Working on making some homemade vanilla.

Our last day of summer! We are so excited for the next adventure, but sooo sad to have Logan go back. 4 weeks is the longest break we have had in years... and we enjoyed every single second. :)
