September

Do you remember the 21st night of September?

September

Logan's classmates hosted a dinner and pool party at one if their apartments and it was a blast! Benson loved swimming and eating watermelon.

Some pizza dough for dinner with Barb and Dave's family

Snuggles with Dad and driving Theo around.

Man, sometimes I really can't believe how cute he is and that he is mine!

We took off to Nashville for an orthodontic conference... catch up on that here:

Have you gathered that we spend a lot of time at the park yet? :)

Benson got a little bike! He has been loving playing and figuring it out

A little side story... our rental company has been less than helpful to work with the past few years. Our bathtub started peeling so I submitted a request to get it fixed. The guy contacted me and it was going to be quite the process and we needed to get a hotel for a day and a half. So I booked something and off we went on a little staycation in Forest Park!

We checked in at 10 am and hit the pool, followed by some Jimmy Johns for lunch!

An epic nap and then Logan met up with us and we went off to get a paddle boat!

We ate some dinner at the Boathouse and went on a little walk around Forest Park.

Back at the hotel we just hung out and watched an epic firework show right out our window!

Back at our house we made some pizza, cookies and counted down the hours until we could use our tub again.

Logan's class had another party! School Luau Luncheon. It was a blast!

Back to the park of course! This kid loves the swings.

We have family pictures next weekend, so we have been shopping for some outfits! Benny just kills me in this!

Logan is the very best dad.

Typically on Sunday nights we go to Andy's and get an ice cream treat. We were both so exhausted, and it wasn't happening. We opted to make a chocolate sheet cake! Logan took the lead... and I should have stayed out of it... because I attempted helping... and when the cake came out of the oven... it was pancake flat! I FORGOT BAKING SODA! AH! Soooo I quickly mixed up another cake, and it turned out better.

Finn really is the most patient dog ever. Benson beats him up continually!

Cozy in bed... snapping some selfies... :)

Benson turns 18 months! I am in denial. We celebrated with some Andy's. :)

We rarely get lunch dates with Logan anymore... so we were so excited to have him meet us at the park!

Baking is a stress reliever for me. It requires my brain to slow down, follow directions, and feel proud of a wonderful product!

More model shots ;)

Nessa mailed me a quilt to long arm for her. She did so great! It's been a while since I have quilted anything... and I have a stack to catch up on.

Enjoying some daddy snuggles!

Hanging out with dad... waiting for dad...

Our friend Trisha was coming back to St. Louis to take family pictures! I can't wait to share those when they get back!

She did send one sneak.... DEAD!

Oh and this ...

Poor Benny is getting so many teeth at once. He woke up so early and just wanted to snuggle his dad.

I dumped out a bag of rice and it had provided HOURS of entertainment. Playing outside... enjoying the fall weather!

I'm trying sooo hard to be better at making dinner. I've had a successful week!

Wrapping up September with a little stink eye, a trip to feed the ducks, and finally quilting the quilt I made for Benson while I was pregnant. :)

Friday night dinner at Russell's. One of our favorite places to eat!

And very last... my finished quilt. :)
