October 2020
making the best out of a hard time of year :)
October 3 - We went exploring to Stuckmeyer's Pumpkin Farm. It was really fun! There were no masks required... that was the best part!
October 4 - I wish making cinnamon rolls didn't take so long. Sooo yummy!!
October 4 - We found out we are having a baby BOY! Totally shocked us all.
October 9 - Logan's 25th birthday!! We planned a trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida. He skipped school on Friday and we headed off to the airport! Quick 2 hour flight to Orlando... long wait to get our rental car. Once we finally got it we went to get it from the parking garage and they gave the exact same car to the people in front of us in line!! So we had to go back and they gave us another one. We drove off to the beach and our place was AMAZING!
Our birthday meal was at Seafood Atlantic and WOW! I got crab & Log got some mahi mahi tacos. Seriously the best food ever.
We came home and hit the beach! It is sooo warm and just wonderful! I could LIVE here!
For dessert we went to "The Fat Donkey". We tried the dulce de leche ice cream and a chocolate shake. Yum!!
October 10 - We soaked in the hot tub & tried to go to the beach. A crazy rain storm came in and nearly washed us away! We headed back, got ready and went to lunch at Rusty's. I got crab, again and Logan got some fish and chips. It was good! But not quite as good as Seafood Atlantic! The Key Lime Pie was really good though!
We went to explore Cocoa Beach Pier after this, it was kind of lame! We both were thinking it would be like Fishermans Wharf.. but it was not! We had to pay $20 to park... we walked on the Pier for a moment and watched a surfing competition and then went back to our place to hit the beach!
For dinner we went to Papa Vito's and got some pizza. It was fun because you buy it by the slice and it was huge, delicious pieces!! After dinner we went to Ron Jons surf shop. That place is crazy cool! You could really spend some money there.
We spent the rest of the evening walking on the beach. So incredibly beautiful and peaceful! My life would really benefit by doing this every single day!
October 11 - I woke up in the middle of the night with UTI symptoms. After a while I started realized there was some blood.. but I couldn't really tell from where. Of course, panic ensued. When urgent care opened at 8 am we were right there. As soon as I peed in a cup I realized it was definitely coming from my bladder and not elsewhere. It was a relief! They gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my way.
Logan ate at Poke Fin for lunch and he really enjoyed that! We went back to the beach and Log body boarded for a few hours. It was sooo fun to watch!
For dinner, and our last night we went to Fish Lips. It was fun and good as well! Nothing has topped Seafood Atlantic. We shared a yummy wildberry pina colada!
October 12 - Our last day :( We enjoyed our last few hours at the beach! It was such a wonderful vacation and I wish it didn't have to end!!! :( We will most definitely be back! After the beach we headed to the cutest little Southern Diner, we tried a few of everything! We headed back towards the airport. Very sad that we have to go back to real life!
When we arrived home our crib had came! We had to set it up and it is sooo cute!!!!!
October 18 - Counting up shots. Getting close to 100!!
October 21 - Damon sent me a Keurig machine and I loveeeee it! They even overnighted us some bread!!
October 22 - Another check up!
October 26 - I had a rough day. Lizzie sent some cheesecake to cheer me up :) Logan has been attending OT because he has been having arm pain. Turns out he is sooooo unflexible! So we are really working on that! Comparing bellies.
October 29 - Cute little baby growing nice and strong!
October 30 - Cute name and milestone signs came from Etsy today!
October 31 - Logan using his birthday ladder to clean out the gutters!
