Logan turns 26!
It's our 8th birthday we have celebrated together. Logan's first birthday we spent together was his 19th birthday. He was attending SUU and living at home, I was in my senior year of high school. I was a very big Nordstrom shopper and bought him some clothing items, we went to Wingers with his family, and I'm sure spent hours making out. :)
26 is a big one, when we started dental school we said, "Man you'll be 26 when you graduate!" it seemed like a far-off galaxy... but here we are! In our last year, in St. Louis, with a dog and an almost 7 month old baby! Man how time flies!
The first of our birthday weekend started on Friday with brunch at First Watch. We rarely go to dine in anymore, it is very complicated with a very explorative infant but we had a wonderful time!
We started out the day early at 7:30 am, with a wide-eyed Benny. We enjoyed some muffins we purchased the day before and opened presents. I did a punch wall this year and it turned out fun! Logan got some new rings (he goes through them like candy), and new AirPod Pros! They are super cool. We kicked him out the door for a 2.5 hour massage down at Sound Stone Massage, something he has been sooo looking forward to!
Logan brought home Chick Fil A for lunch and we hung out and got ready to have Noah + Kyna over for dinner and cake. Noah's birthday is the day after Logan's so it is fun to celebrate with them. We ordered Cheesecake Factory via DoorDash and it was sooo yummy. For some reason it is always better delivered from there. We asked them to bring drinks and wow did they deliver with quite the spread!!
We love Russell's and we really love their cakes! Last week I ordered two six inch cakes - Lemon curd + Chocolate Raspberry. It killed us not to cut into them on Friday!
They were great company to have over, we played some fun games on the TV that they brought and we all laughed so hard. Benny participated in some, and slept in some. He was loving on Kyna!
Where oh where will our lives be this time next year!
