July ‘22
recap of July
Logan is gone most days from 7:30 - 4:30, so Benson and I get real creative some days to stay entertained and busy!
We kicked off July with a 15 month peds visit from hell. We waited for over an hour before I politely said we were leaving. I'm yet to have one good experience with a peds office. Logan's hood finally showed up... they didn't have them in time for graduation so they had to use loaners.
Fourth of July weekend we made lots of yummy treats, visited the goats, and hid from the fireworks.
Quick dip in JT + Jen's pool. Grandpa DJ mailed us bread. Trip to Home Goods. Playing with bears + food truck night in Tower Grove Park with Logan's classmates. It was SO hot!
Another baking week! Berry Tiramsu, focaccia, lemon pepper chicken, and cheesy spuds!
We live at the park. I can't believe we got so lucky to live right up the street!
I've been wanting a wagon stroller for a while... and we pulled the trigger. It is so fun!
Benson found my old american girl doll, Kit. He loves carrying her around! He also loves unloading all of our shoes onto the front porch.
Logan survived Tweed week! Lots of wire bending.
Little road rage... shaving cream fun... wagon rides + Tuesday Starbucks run.
Benson hates baths lately... so this was a big success! More wagon rides to the park, making brioche bread, crawling and climbing on foam mattress + Costco delivery!!
I decided to be brave and do the anonymous questions. 99% of the questions were regarding leaving the church. I was happy to answer these questions, but couldn't help but notice that now that's all that anybody can see in me.
More bread baking, dog loving, park dates and parting with the crib we never used. :)
Lone Elk Park, fanny pack with frozen green beans for Finno, and bath naps.
Benson took an epic nap and so I did a ton of organizing... it was amazing!
We met some friends at a little stream to play in Arnold.
Playing in the car, bath tub time + dinner with Dad at Peel.
We met Barb + Dave at his parents house for some dinner and swimming. It was such a perfect night! It also marked two years since I found out I was pregnant with Benson.
We did another round of basement cleaning and organizing! So nice to get rid of more things! I also successfully registered the old bitch in good ol Missouri... all by myself. It may seem dumb but it gave me a ton of stress and anxiety. Car inspection, virtual meeting with tax people and trip to the DMV... but I did it!
Just my toddler turning teenager!
Trying on outfits that were once giant... now they fit! We also got record rain!!!
Meeting for dad for lunch, and trying to win the billion!
We have some of the best and busiest days together! Epic flash flood at our park did some good damage! 5 inches in an hour.
Drying off the playground after all of our rain! Snuggles with dad, calling Grandma for her birthday!
Saturday brunch!
Last day of July! We leave for Grandma and Grandpa's house tomorrow while Logan is in Michigan for GORP.
