Florida
Wednesday
After Logan was done with work, we packed the car and headed to the airport! A quick hour + 20 minutes later, we touched down at ECP!
My parents were in the process of driving from UT so we reserved a Turo to get us from the airport to their house, pick up their other car from the storage unit and for Logan to go to Alabama the next day. We made it back home and went to bed. Easy peezy!
Thursday
Logan woke up bright and early at 5 am and hit the road to Gulf Shores. SAO was having their back to school work party. He drove the boat, hung out with the staff and had a great time!
Ben and I hung out back at home! Did some grocery shopping, hit the pool and relaxed!
Logan drove into Pensacola to spend the night with Noah and his girlfriend. It was great to finally see his office, new house and catch up. We are super excited to have them only an hour away!
Friday
Logan woke up and hit the road back to ECP. Benny and I hit the pool and met him at a car wash near Pier Park to drop off our rental car.
We walked around Pier Park and ate some food.
Benson saw the giant Ferris wheel and wanted to ride it. Not going to lie, I was nervous about it breaking down while we were at the top, the AC stopping, leaving us to roast! Thankfully that didn’t happen and we had a great ride with beautiful views!
Back home in Papa’s hammock, family golf cart ride and playing on the new playground!
We made reservations at the Old Florida Fish House. Logan got a full stuffed snapper!
It was sooo hot so we ended the night a good old red dye 40 snow cone. ;)
Saturday
There are the best toys here! We have been playing all the time!
Of course, pool trip.
A trip to Target and Fresh Market resulted in an ice cream truck to color and a steak to cook!
Late night golf cart ride to view some houses being built. One of my favorite things!
Sunday
Our first stop was a dip in the pool!
Second stop, ghost crab pizza!
Third stop, golf cart nap and swings.
Fourth stop, Shaka and the beach!
Fifth stop.. Carousel
Sixth stop… Pool!
Wow! I’m exhausted just typing all we did. ;)
Monday
Morning steak! Logan used damon’s sous vide to cook the steak.
The rest of the day was filled with packing, cleaning and getting ready to take off to Alabama…. continued on the next blog post. :)
