February always kicks off with celebrating my dad’s birthday. Logan made us breakfast on the blackstone, and took Ben out to play at the park for a few hours. We relaxed the rest of the day and enjoyed dinner at Taco Mama and some ice cream. This was the first year it really didn’t wreck me, which was great.

The utility sink in our laundry room was so gross and needed to be replaced. We got a new sink from Costco and hooked it up as far as we could, thankfully plumber Joe came and finished it off. Yay!

We worked on our valentines and soaked in the tub!

Ben has been asking for a dessert from Bass Pro. ??? A moon pie?? No. I could not fathom what he could be talking about. He told me to ask Grammy! So a quick call to Grammy revealed that they have dip n dots at checkout. Off we went!

I love how much time we are able to spend outside. We pitched the tent and attempted to sleep out. :)

We are going to try out a tball team so we got some gear! Ben is actually really good at this!

A fun part of homeownership has been day-dreaming about painting and making this home ours. I saw a few TikTok videos of paint colors and so we went and got some samples. Well, I feel like we were catfished! We aren’t sold on any of them! Oh well.

I established care with a new OB, and Ben nearly slept through the entire appointment.

My dad’s cousin, Matt and his wife Nichole were going to be near my mom on a trip with some friends. Ben and I drove over to see them and go to dinner. We had a wonderful 24 hour trip!!

I’m so glad they are a quick 3 hour drive away!

Back home, Logan had the sweetest Valentine’s Day surprise waiting for us!

Great weekend fun together!

We bought benson some nugget couches for his birthday, we didn't realize how much room 3 of them would take up so we gifted to him early! We had many busy fun days together!

Our neighbors, Cathy and Lee invited to take us to our first Mardi Gras parade! It was so crazy and fun!
