we find a house, at the last minute :)

Monday Afternoon

Of course our first stop had to be Bucee’s!! Logan got this for Benson when he was here a few days ago, but Ben wanted to get one for Brielle.

Grammy and Papa arrived shortly after we did to our hotel in Daphne!!

Trip to Foo Sackly’s for dinner. YUM! Followed by some jumps on the air mattress!

Tuesday

We woke up bright and early to start the house hunting journey! Savannah picked us up and off we went. It was a busy, fun, and very funny day!!

Our last scheduled house (7180 Pierson) peaked our interest!!

Back across the bay we relaxed and went to the park.

We went to dinner at Buck’s Wood Fire pizza in Daphne.

Back at the hotel before bed :)

Wednesday

There was one house we weren’t able to see the day before so we saw that and wanted to look at Pierson once more.

Savannah got to work on an offer while we hit Costco :)

We relaxed for a few hours and headed over to the Grand. We suggested they go to this last time they were here but they were too afraid of the guard shack! We made it in successfully and had the best time. It’s so beautiful here and we even found fishing poles!!! Logan caught multiple fish and it was the best night.

Thursday

It’s our 9 year anniversary! We went to Bass Pro and had Taco Mama for lunch. It was really yummy. This day was kind of long and blah because we were waiting to hear back on our offer ALL DAY. They had until 6pm to respond. You can imagine what the car ride to our dinner was like when it was 5:55 and there was no response. Right before we got there Savannah let us know they had another offer and we would have until 12 pm the next day to submit our best and final.

We felt so frustrated. Annoyed because listing agent told us there were no other offers and she was so bad at communicating. Needless to say, it ruined our night. We decided to submit one last offer … but it would be another day of waiting.

In the meantime we found 3 more houses would want to see.

Benson had a grand old time with Grammy and Papa while we were at dinner!

Friday

Logan had made plans to work with Shane and sign his contract, so us girls went off to Mobile for the final 3 houses!

The last house we saw was magical. The backyard was unreal!

We yet again were left nearly until 6pm until we heard we didn’t get the first house. We asked to put in an offer on this new house and Savannah quickly got it in. We would have until 5pm Saturday to hear back. Ahhh!

The Grand is always a good idea to drown sorrows and have a good time!

Saturday

We all woke up in a funk…. at 5 am. We didn’t have any plans until 6:30 pm when we would go see Logan’s Mobile office, so it was going to be a LONG day of waiting. Thankfully at 10:30 am Savannah called and said our offer was accepted!!!!! It felt like such a relief. We made plans to go look at the house … Logan had yet to see the house!
